Wasserburg Rotarians Inaugurate CNC Project

A high-level delegation from the Wasserburg Rotary club comprising of its president Mr. Peter Rink, Mr. Manfred Bonetsmuller, Mr. Georg Lindauer, Mr. Bernd Reisinger, and Mr. Richard Kroff, visiteInauguration of CNC Machined our school from 3 till 5 November 2010. The purpose of their visit was the inauguration of the CNC Machine Project which they kindly donated to our vocational department with the Beirut Cosmopolitan Rotary Club. The inauguration was held on Thursday 4th of November at 12.00 noon. Also attending were members of the Beirut Cosmopolitan Rotary Club and the Schneller Board of Trustees. The director of JLSS welcomed all the guests and thanked them for this wonderful achievement. It brought vocational training in JLSS to the 21st century and it will also be a money generating project that will help our school financially. The president of the Wasserburg Rotary club, Mr. Peter Rink, and the main supporters of the project, Mr. Manfred Bonetsmuller and Mr. Tony Asfour then addressed those attending explaining the different stages of the project and the various challenges faced. They expressed their commitment to support JLSS and their hope that our trainers and students will utilize the CNC machine to advance their skills and assist JLSS.
After the inauguration the guests were invited for lunch after which the guests form Lebanon returned to Beirut. Our guests from Wasserburg were taken in the afternoon to visit the nearby cedar forest. They returned to Germany on Friday 5 November.
