Teachers' Day Celebration

On the occasion of Teachers' Day two programs were held to commemorate this special day. The first was held on Thursday 5 March 2009 for the elementary school, and the second was held on Friday 6 March for both the vocational and academic schools. Both celebrations were held in the newly renovated Hermann Schneller Hall which is now both a gym and a multipurpose hall. Students and children excelled in their performance of music, song, comic drama, and poetry. It was a very enjoyable program. The Lebanese folk singing was especially good this year as the boys were less shy to bring out their beautiful voices trained under our music teacher Mr. Joseph Sleilati. As usual he composes music and writes poetry for our special occasions, and this year was exceptional, worthy of the occasion and the reopening of the renovated hall. We express our thanks to all the teachers and students who worked hard to produce this very nice program. We also thank those who worked on decorating the hall beautifully for the occasion. We also thank staff and students from the vocational department and the maintenance department for the wonderful job they did in transforming Hermann Schneller hall to a beautiful gym and multipurpose hall.
