Mr. Hani and Mrs. Evelyn Sahyoun Visit

Former JLSS teacher, educator, and head of the Boarding Department, Mr. Hani Sahyoun, visited JLSS with his wife Evelyn on Thursday 11 April, 2013. The Sahyouns were on a short visit to Lebanon from Germany, and it was wonderful to see them in Schneller School.
They served in JLSS for nine years during the toughest years of the war in Lebanon.
They caught up with old friends and former students visiting the various departments and walking around the campus reminiscing on their Schneller memories, both good and bad.
Talking about the extremely dangerous times of the war and how much they endured during their work in JLSS reminded us how wonderful it is to have the dark days of war behind us. It also helped us to see the benevolent hand of God miraculously protecting His people through extremely dangerous times.
We thank Mr. and Mrs. Sahyoun for their wonderful visit. We also remember with sincere gratitude their wonderful work in JLSS and their exemplary Christian dedication in loving, caring for, and educating children in our school.
