Help us by Mailing to us Your Old Licensed Original Software
Friends, partners, and alumni can help us by mailing to our school CDs of old original licensed software that is not being used by them. Starting from Windows 95 and Office 97; all these unused CDs on your shelves or in your drawers and cabinets can be most useful to us and will save us a lot of money. As Schneller School is committed to antipiracy, the cost of software is a big burden on its finances. You can help us a great deal by sending us your old unused CDs. Children and young people's DVDs will also be appreciated.
Urgent Needs List
1-The price of diesel oil is rising enormously. We need diesel oil for heating our fourteen large buildings through this winter season. Our school is in an area that goes through very cold winters with subzero temperatures, especially at night, lasting for many days. We also need diesel oil daily for our electric generators. We urge our friends and partners to help us meet this very urgent need. We especially urge JLSS alumni who remember our cold winters very well to think of our children this year and concentrate all their efforts on helping us meet this very urgent need.

Other Important Needs
Kitchen Renovation and Laundry Relocation
The relocation of the Laundry proved unsuccessful. When the equipment and furnishings were moved to the new laundry area under the kitchen, there was no space for storage of bedding, sheets and towels. We still needed to use one floor of the old laundry house for that purpose. The relocation of the kitchen store to the old laundry house also proved to be counterproductive. When kitchen staff have to carry 50 kilogram bags and other heavy boxes on a daily basis, and when the inside of the kitchen is so warm and outside temperatures in winter can be in sub-zero levels, it is only logical that the kitchen store must be in the same building as the kitchen. We currently have to use different parts of two buildings for the kitchen and the laundry respectively, because we do not have any other option. Eventually, we need to renovate the old laundry house and bring the whole laundry department back to it. We also need to return the kitchen store to the same building of the kitchen. The extra space in the kitchen building will be needed in the near future for Hotel Management training. Estimated Cost of Kitchen Renovation and Laundry Relocation 15,000 €
St. Michael's Church
The church building is in a desperate need for major renovation. The renovation will include new foundation and tiling as the current floor is sinking down, new paint for benches and walls, and new windows. The church also needs a good full pedal organ (computer simulation of a pipe organ).
Roofs
We will continue the renovation of the broken roofs of our campus buildings. This process started in 2003 and will continue until 2009 when we hope that all our roofs will be fixed. The roofs of four more boarding buildings and the kitchen have been already renovated.
Playgrounds
The surfaces of both our basketball and football fields need treatment and resurfacing.
Preschool Swings Slides and seesaws
The preschool play area needs new swings, slides, seesaws, and other play items for preschool children.
School Library
The school library is in desperate need for new books, CDs, and DVDs in Arabic, English and German.
Science Laboratory
The school needs a totally new science laboratory. Estimated Cost 7,500 €
Electrical and Electronic Lab for Car Mechanics Workshop
Our car mechanics workshop is in desperate need for an Electrical and Electronic Lab for diagnosis and repair of car components and equipment.
New TV and DVD Equipment for Boarding Homes
Most of our boarding homes are in desperate need for new television sets and DVD players.
Musical Instruments

All our boarding homes need books for small libraries and Games for play-time.
