Arrival of EMS Co-worker Dorothee Beck

EMS co-worker, Dorothee Beck, arrived to JLSS on Thursday 23 October 2014. She will be the head of the JLSS boarding department for the next three years. The boarding department was in need of leadership by a person with a background in pedagogy and education. We applied to our partners in Germany (EVS/EMS). They kindly arranged for a process of applications for the job. They interviewed all applicants and narrowed down the number of possible candidates to three. The director of JLSS was invited to Germany to participate in the meeting that made the final choice. The decision was unanimous in choosing Miss Dorothy Beck.
We are very grateful to our partners in Germany for sending Miss Beck to lead the Boarding Department. We are especially thankful to Miss Beck for coming to Lebanon in spite of the security situation in the country and region. We look forward to her leadership of the Boarding department for the next three years. We wish her a very happy and fruitful stay in Lebanon.
